Title: ... p114 - Des Drummond comments/memories by Andy Fidler

As well as Des Drummond's altercation with a Widnes fan, I also remember a similar incident in a game against Leigh at Wilderspool.

I think it was the last game of the season. Warrington were safe, but Leigh had to win to avoid relegation. As normally happens on such occasions, Leigh's desire was just enough to secure a narrow victory and preserve their status (for the time being!) in the top flight.

However, I'm pretty sure that Des had an altercation with a Leigh fan who had run on to the pitch at the final hooter and made the mistake of provoking Des up close. Silly.

Does anybody else remember this?
