Martin Offiah runs into a goal post called Des Drummond

During a challenge cup game (i forget the year i think 1989) Vs Widnes at Wilderspool one of the hulme brothers scored a try under the sticks chased all the way by dessie, the rest of the widnes players followed to start the celebrations one of which was Martin Offiah.

Drummond obviously angered at the celebrations decided to knock out the unsuspecting Offiah with one punch.

Whilst watching the video of the game later that night the normally accurate Ray French commentating stated that Offiah had ran into the posts, I think poor Martin thought he had ran into an oncoming train.
