Title: ... p27 Ryan Memories of Kandos, Satts, Kelly and Wilson - by Fazza

Kevin Ryan king hit Georgie Piper at a game t Leichhardt Oval in the sixties right in front of the ref (can't recall whom but a leading one of the time) and Ryan was walking of the pitch before the ref had time to blow his whistle.

Sattler was a man of steel especially in the Grand Final against Many when king hit by Bucknell - Sattler was a champion.
What can you say about Ned too many  consistent leading tough guy appearances that would shame Arnie.
Pick me a tougher front row.
I would have liked to have included Bluey Wilson who has had to be the most durable tough guy over many seasons but now there are half backs bigger than him, but no one has had a bigger ticker (witness 1961 GF retaliation on Cody -  a much younger, stronger player - for flooring his captain Provan in the first half). Congrats on a top web page.
